Want a Sound Mix For Your Film?

Anyone from D1, D3, Capstone or Doc Workshop who would like to submit their film for a proper sound mix should prepare a DVD data disc with the following and get it to me ASAP:

- an NTSC Quicktime output of your film (NOT HI-DEF!!!)
- an OMF audio export
- a single page text file with notes for the mix team and your proper contact info

The studio that works with us for sound mixes can do most anything - ADR, new sound effects, whatever. But you have to be ready to work around their schedule.

Edit Suites Closing For Summer As Of Friday, May 2nd

A reminder to all...UCF Post Productions facilities will close for the summer as of May 2nd, at 5 pm. Student access cards will be turned off at that time. Facilities will open again as of the first day of classes for the Fall semester, which I believe is August 25th.

Anyone who needs to finish an edit or dub tapes should plan to do it soon. Please don't ask for special access over the summer.

Prof Harris' SUNSHINE STATE To Screen in Belgium, Milwaukee

Professor Christopher Harris will screen his new film SUNSHINE STATE (Extended Forecast) at the Courtisane Festival of Short Film, Video and New Media in Ghent, Belgium on April 22nd and 23rd.

In addition, SUNSHINE STATE (Extended Forecast) will screen at the Milwaukee Underground Film Festival on Friday May 2nd.
